Bloomington Center for Connection is dedicated to providing mental health services that are trauma-responsive and aligned with our values of social justice and equity. Our approach, Relational Cultural Theory (RCT) posits that the quality of our relationships—shaped for better and worse by cultural influences—can hinder or facilitate our well-being. We offer a range of services including individual, couples, and family therapy sessions. We accept several types of commercial insurance and HSA cards as well for medically necessary therapeutic services.
At BCC, we operate on the foundational belief that healing and growth are fostered through meaningful connections and corrective relational experiences. Within these experiences, there are other therapeutic techniques that can help. Our therapists are trained in a variety of interventions, including CBT, ACT, Interpersonal, Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, Brain-Body Integration, Polyvagal theory, and several other strengths-based models. We understand there is no one right way for people to heal. Your therapist will offer interventions fit to your specific needs in a collaborative, relational, treatment model.
