Relational-Cultural Theory Training
Join us this summer for our first Relational-Cultural Theory Learning Circle, an opportunity to dive into the principles of RCT and apply them to our work as clinicians. This workshop is designed to provide therapists a deep understanding of RCT’s history and context, as well as current developments and applications.
Using role-play, discussion, and theory, participants will explore the core concepts of mutuality, relational images, and power dynamics in therapeutic relationships. If you are new to RCT, this training offers an introduction to the relational impact of cultural variables, along with opportunities to practice the skills as you learn them. Clinicians who are already familiar with RCT will find community, enrichment, and fresh perspectives on relational therapy.
Facilitated by Meenaxi Palaniappan and Amy Makice. Meenaxi and Amy are passionate about creating connection through sharing RCT.
This workshop will be virtual, on July 21, 2024, from 1:00-5:00. To register for this workshop, click here.
